Privacy Policy — QA Copilot for Jira

What we collect
- Jira ticket content (title, description, acceptance criteria, labels) — sent to our backend for AI processing.
- Anonymous identifier (a random UUID containing no personal information).
- Usage counter (number of generations, tracked per day and per month).
What we don't collect
- Personal information, email, or name.
- Browsing history outside Jira.
- Cookies or tracking pixels.
- Payment information (there is no paid tier yet).
How data is used
- Ticket content is sent to the Google Gemini API to generate test cases.
- The anonymous ID and usage counter are stored in Cloudflare KV to enforce free-tier limits.
- We do not log, store, or share ticket content beyond the duration of the AI request.

Data retention
- Anonymous user IDs & usage counters: kept until the counters reset (Cloudflare KV TTL — daily keys ~2 days, monthly keys ~35 days).
- Ticket content: not stored — processed in-memory then discarded.
- Generation history: stored only in your browser via
chrome.storage.local.
Your rights
- Uninstall the extension to delete all local data.
- Reset your anonymous ID by clearing the extension's storage.
- Email us at btm.chaiya@gmail.com to request data deletion.
